Q3 competitive teardown
Project: Growth · flagship · shared with 3 teammates
Pull the current pricing pages for our top 3 competitors and tell me where we're exposed. Give me a one-pager I can send to the team.

Wrote document— competitive-teardown.md

Here's where the three overlap with us and where the gap opens up:

  • Acme is now the most expensive at $24/seat but bundles usage — heavy teams pay more than us.
  • Northwind killed its free tier. That's our clearest opening: our free workspace is now the only one in the set.
  • Cobalt pushed SSO and audit log down to $18 — that erodes our "governance costs less" line at the mid-tier.

Net: we win on free-tier and on governed approvals; we're exposed on per-seat price for large teams. I put the full breakdown and a chart in the doc below.

Perfect. Add a line on what we should change in our own pricing, then post the one-pager to #growth.

Recommendation: keep the free workspace (it's now unique in the set), and introduce a volume discount above 25 seats to blunt Acme's per-seat gap. Posting the one-pager to #growth needs my Slack connector — I've queued it as an approval so a human signs off before it's sent.

Decisions & Approvals

Every action an agent wants to take that carries consequence stops for a human. Who proposed it, under what scope, and on whose authority is on the record.
