Why every team needs the same authority model

Different work, identical questions

An engineering agent may propose a code change after a verified finding. An operations agent may prepare a payment, supplier action, or compliance response. The interfaces differ, but the authority questions are the same.

Who is acting? What may they use? Which concrete action is proposed? Who must decide? What boundary applies during execution? What record remains?

One model reduces organisational drift

Separate governance systems for every tool create separate definitions of identity, approval, scope, and evidence. Those definitions drift, and the gaps appear at the handoffs between teams.

Athena applies one authority model across connected workflows. The policy can differ by person, tool, and action, but the structure of the decision remains consistent.

Approval is specific, not theatrical

Athena does not require a person to approve every keystroke. Routine work proceeds inside the scope already granted. A named person becomes part of the flow when the organisation defines an external action as consequential.

The approver sees concrete arguments, such as the exact repository, amount, destination, or operation. The record preserves what was actually authorised, not a generic permission detached from the action.
