Reuben is the technical founder. He built the verification and identity technology behind Athena and leads product, engineering and Aelethion's intellectual property, including five patent applications filed in 2026 and a technical specification filed with the IETF.

He came to this from algorithmic and high-frequency trading, where systems act on their own and confident software breaks expensively. That work teaches a particular discipline: prove what a system did rather than assume it, and design for the case where it is wrong. Athena is that discipline applied to AI.

Before Aelethion he worked across machine learning systems, trading infrastructure, signal processing and multi-agent architectures.

Brendon runs the commercial side of Aelethion: operations, finance, legal and customer relationships. He is the named owner on every deal.

He has spent twenty years in business software and founded Newstrack Online, which gave him the part most technical founders lack: knowing what it takes to get an enterprise to sign, and what happens after they do.

His job is to make sure the product reaches the people who need it, and that the company around it is built properly.
